Release/Sprint Management

Release management in Rommana ALM allows for scheduling features (requirements or user stories) to different release or sprints.The release management tools in Rommana ALM supports the development of large systems that normally consists of other systems. Features can be selected either from product backlogs or from any number of projects that might be running sequentially or concurrently. This allows different features from implements by different projects to be scheduled for different release. A project might be delivering projects for multiple releases. Also, a release may contain features implemented by different projects. The release management and sprint management component of Rommana ALM allows a release manager to perform the following tasks:
  • Maintain Product Backlog
  • Move different requirements and use stories between release and sprints
  • Since Rommana ALM supports version of requirements and user stories, a release manage may schedule different versions of the same requirement or user story for different releases
  • Closely manage progress through Enhanced Burn down Chart and Issue Report Dashboard
  • Concurrent release planning: A release manager may be planning multiple releases at the same time with each release using features implemented by different projects.
  • Cross Systems Release Management: A release manager my select features from different systems to be included in a specific release
  • Collaborate with product owners of different products and project managers to schedule features for releases or sprints
